ICS Nakuru Karate club participated in the Rift Valley Open championships that were held at Menengai Social Hall in Nakuru town. Our students participated in both Kata and Kumite. Kata is a Japanese word describing detailed patterns of movements practiced solo or in pairs. Kumite refers to forms of sparring.

Our students performed really well and won three medals i.e silver in Kata and Kumite and Bronze in Kumite. Engaging in such co-curricular activities is beneficial to the students. They learn to be disciplined always, builds self-confidence, helps achieve health fitness and it is an excellent way of self-defense. Join us as we develop talents and build confidence.
