The Kenyan Competency-based Curriculum (CBC) is a new system of education designed by the Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development (KICD) team and launched by the ministry of education in 2017. The CBC is designed to emphasize the significance of developing skills and knowledge and also applying those competencies to real-life situations.

Today 2nd March 2020, our E.C.D.E students were trained by Rose Oluoch and Grace Akello who owns private institutions but works in collaboration with the county government in CBC training. The training which is to last for 4 days is centered on the following;
1. Core competencies of CBC
2. CBC life values
3. Levels of competency-based curriculum
4. CBC Schemes of work, lesson plans, and notes among others.
