Pastry is one of the most ingenious and Inventive departments in the kitchen.
A pastry chef sets their heart to depict emotions on the final product.
Baking and pastry allow self-expression, with rising innovations, it is paramount that a chef is able to meet the demands of the consumers as many shifts back to their roots.
Baking using whole wheat and making multi-grain bread is on the rise as consumers become aware of sugar intakes.
At ICS college we train you to become a competent chef throughout all the baking stages; From choice of ingredients, why certain flours act the way they do, to the final product, students are exposed to everything they need to know to have a chance at succeeding in the world of pastry.
