Believe it or not, college students are more often than not, hesitant to talk about their sex lives, but for health educators to provide students with the best health services, they need openness. You can’t ignore sex, when two thirds of college students were reported being sexually active in the last year.
You will want to talk with your child about how sex should be safe and consensual. You also want to talk about sexual dangers, like sexual assault and sexually transmitted diseases.
ICS Eldoret campus Counseling department held a sexual and health talk to sensitize students about these issues while directing all the efforts to inform students about the importance of abstaining.
The students also had a chance to ask questions and receive informed answers from Family Care Hospital doctors who had graced the event to give their views and pieces of advice.
